What Loupe won't do
It never deletes a photo. It marks and explains its reasoning — you decide what stays.
It never touches a pixel. Any crop or exposure change is a suggestion you apply yourself, in your own software.
Scores are anchored to real judged results, contributed by photographers who've had prints scored — not just a generic 1–10 scale.
Runs on Anthropic's API, not the consumer chat app — which means nothing you submit is used to train anything.
Why contribute a score
The critique tool is only as good as the real scores behind it.
When you submit a photo alongside a score it actually received from a real club judge or PAGB panel, that pairing becomes part of the evidence Loupe uses to calibrate everyone's critiques — including your own next one. A handful of real, varied examples teaches the tool far more than any single "perfect" shot ever could.
Contributing takes under a minute. Faces are automatically blurred before anything uploads, and each person can contribute up to five examples at a time — oldest replaced first as new ones come in. Nobody, including other members, can browse the pool directly; it's used only to inform scoring, never displayed.
